To say life can move fast is an understatement.  Life changes so quickly and sometimes without warning, that we feel an instinctual need to return to the things we find most comforting whenever our worlds turn upside down.  This past year, I got a new job, we sold our house and moved to a new city, bought a new house and two weeks later I had our second baby.  Life today is very different from even 6 months ago, so it is without reservation that I am back in the kitchen to brew soups, saute meats, and bake desserts.  It is the latter of which I am writing tonight.
