What happens when you burn sugar

My absolute favorite vacations have been to Hawaii. It is such an amazing place. On one island alone, there are 17 different climates. Rainforest to desert, you can experience it all in a day. Plus, you can see real hardened lava. Or, you can put sugar in a pot, turn it on high, forget it and you’ll get something that looks and acts exactly like I remember the lava.
